“This is the Way.” It’s already decided, on a subconscious level, so might as well just commence the study. I’m ready to benefit. Money is an agreed upon concept anyhow, so, that in mind, let’s begin, so ours can be engaged in something more than endless tasks of nonsensical economic “motions”, albeit a stagnant one (current wage slave economy). Also, it’s already a guarantee, whether most see or accept it yet. #ImReady4theNeu #iAM1 #ReturnsTheEcho #ComeQuickly

When life was cheap we used slaves. When coal came along we got a bit more bang for the buck so we employed poor people who were not legally slaves but functionally they were. When oil came along energy was so cheap that we could all benefit. Withoyokl there would have been no end of slavery in mid C19th. We are now seeing the ecological side effects of burning fossil carbon and the price is going up. The next phase has to be cheap safe ultra low waste zero carbon energy. We have that with the molten salt nuclear reactor. All of the hazards associated with today’s reactors cannot happen. AND they burn the fuel completely leaving a short radioactive life waste that’s easily managed. The only reason we do not have theses is convention and wilful foot dragging by the safety regulatory bodies. China is moving forward. So is Canada. We need that energy now. Not some time in the 2050s.

Way to beat around the bush. Robots may take the jobs we have now but as humanity has always done we'll find something else to do or the item that the robot makes will become cheaper. Lose for example didn't take away jobs but made more of them. ATMs didn't take away bank teller jobs they created more of them. The same thing happened with the rise of computers it created jobs that we didn't know that we would have. The same thing will happen with the technology in the future. Which is why I 100% agree with furthering our education system.

No that is not communism, communism is about ownership by the community hence communism. Sometimes communism is confused with socialism, socialism which is basically communism lite like European countries have. The community likely wont own the means of production and it will likely be tightly regulated businesses owned by individuals or shareholders. Opinion; honestly, it's likely the means of production will eventually be seized by the community as they will be the vast majority 99.9% of people. So possibly ot will lead to communism but without the socially haomogenous apsect or the totalitarian dictatorships.

I think their nationalist policies are one of the reasons for progress there. Also their policies on ethnic nationalism. They dont bring in millions of random people from the world to give everything to for free. just to virtue signal. They are very much not egalitarian, maybe some of it is changing yes. They have a lot of people with a low quality of life still. They are not so communist is all of the social ways but more of a one party state capitalist nationalist type government. They gave a weak republic aspect that doesnt always protect minorities and groups that they dislike and choose to persecute

A universal income is about REDUCING government control over our lives, and distributing welfare evenly across the board. 80% of it would be instantly be funded by getting rid of current social welfare programs. Welfare is currently concentrated in the hands of people who actively "work the system" and many people who qualify for welfare don't seek it out for whatever reason. Ironically the people most apposed to a basic income, stand to gain the most out of it.

Dumbest shit I have ever heard...it will never work in American society if anywhere. The only society that could have such a thing is one that controls the minds of it's people as much as possible. More than the US govt. We would need extremely organized and powerful mandatory schools and population control. Also, is there anything positive in ensuring every life is secure? If everyone lives without troubles, what motivates people upward? I would rather be free to fail and die by my own hands. And if you disagree, I hope you find another country. We need to teach kids how to grow food, budget, and save. Teach them real sex ed so they don't get pregnant before they are 20. Teach them to stay healthy. Instead of forcing mixing religious and prudish children in state and county run schools, fund charter schools that cater to atheists and religious people. Change our culture of gluttony and sugar addiction. That is the stuff that matters.

Boris Bolshoi that’s exactly what will happen you can give all the money in the world for free all it does is devalue the dollar. You give everyone $20,000 a year for free and then milk goes up to $200 a gallon that’s what happens. You cannot give everyone a salary for doing nothing it doesn’t work that way.
